Description

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has a requirement for maintenance support services on 38 Perforator machines located at the DFAS, Columbus, Ohio. Manufacturers of the machines are American Perforator Company, ABE, and CUMMINS. The services to be provided are preventive and remedial maintenance to include all labor and replacement parts. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid that will be considered. The NAICS code is 81131 and small business size standard is $6.0 million. Performance period will be from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003 for the base period, followed by two (2) one-year option periods. Solicitation anticipated to be issued on or about August 8, 2002. This requirement is full and open with no restrictions. The request for quote (RFQ) will be made available under the DFAS website at http://www.dfas.mil. Hard copies will not be provided. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for award. (See internet site: http://www.ccr.gov). Basis of award will be that which is determined to be in the best interest of the Government, price and other factors considered.
