Description

The work will consist of the gathering and removal of vegetative debris associated with an ice storm from approximately 109 bridges/structures and 51 watershed reaches, and 300 acres of disturbed areas in McCurtain, Carter, and Murray Counties, Oklahoma. The contracor will remove debris from the bridges/structures/watersheds and haul to a designated disposal area predetermined by the project sponsors. Performance time is 150 calendar days. Estimated price range is between $2,000,000-$2,500,000. A site showing will be held on August 29, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at Ardmore, Oklahoma. We will meet at the Chickasaw Library on Railway Express east of Exit 31A on I-35; turn South at first stoplight; Library is located South of the Hampton Inn Motel. The North American Industry Classification Code is 562119 (Other Waste Collection $10 million). Solicitations will be posted and be available to download on August 19, 2002. Bids may be mailed to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA Suite 206, Stillwater, OK 74074-2655 or hand carried to USDA NRCS, 100 USDA, Suite 203, Stillwater, OK. Bids must be received before 2:00 p.m. on September 19, 2002.
