Description

The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Administrative Support Center (EASC) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with TMA Associates to provide technical expertise and support for the development of organizational planning strategies for remote sensing activities, establishment of framework for commercial partnerships and contracting, and improve organizational understanding of other federal remote sensing commercialization programs. This is a follow-on effort for services provided to the Coastal Services Center, Charleston, South Carolina. The statutory authority for this action is 41 USC 253(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. Interested parties may identify their interest and must provide evidence of their capability to respond to the requirement by August 15, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a sufficient number of sources are available for competition. Numbered note 22 applies.
