- Description
- Furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and operations as required to perform the following: This project includes, but is not limited to, surface preparation, exterior painting, and final cleanup of buildings (including single and multiple stories), portions of buildings, towers (including, but not limited to, flight control towers), and other commercial structures. Painting includes various exterior surfaces including, but not limited to, stucco, wood, CMU, metal siding, vinyl siding, and concrete. The resulting contract shall be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and will be for a Basic Year plus two (2) Option Years. Individual Task Orders (T.O.) that specify respective work and location(s) will be issued against the contract based upon line item costs. All work shall be accomplished in strict accordance with the specifications and the terms and conditions of the contract. The proposed solicitation is unrestricted competition under NAICS code 235210 and SIC 1721. The magnitude of this project for the Base Year and two Option Years is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The size standard is $12,000,000. The solicitation will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) using Past Performance-Price Trade-Off evaluation procedures to ensure the Best Value for the Government. This solicitation is open to all business concerns. The entire solicitation will be released solely on the Electronic Posting System (EPS). Copies of the solicitation must be obtained at http://www.eps.gov; paper copies will not be available. All prospective offerors are responsible for visiting the EPS frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation and attachments will only be available by downloading the documents from the EPS web site. Anticipated solicitation release date for the solicitation is on or about 15 August 2002 with an anticipated closing date of 10 September 2002; actual issue and closing dates will be identified on the posted solicitation. When issued, the solicitation package with the specifications and all attachments will be available for download as Word or Excel documents. Any changes to the solicitation documents or specifications shall render them invalid. Proposals containing any changes will be rejected. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to receive a contract award from any Department of Defense (DoD) activity.
