Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to negotiate a noncompetitive contract with Aquarium Innovation, Inc. for the replacement of ten aquariums at Mammoth Springs. A determination not to compete this proposal contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(a), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(l)(l), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement is solely within its discretion. Aquarium Innovation, Inc. is the only known source with unique expertise and artistic skill required for constructing exhibits in the aquariums. This is not a Request for Quotation nor a solicitation of offers. The Government shall award a contract to Aquarium Innovation, Inc. by 8/23/02.
