Description

Provide all labor, equipment, supplies, growing location, and transportation needed to collect seed, propogate trees, grow seedlings/liners, grow trees, and plant trees at Chickasaw National Recreation Area. Contractor to collect seeds in sufficient quantities to produce and plant 2" - 2-1/2" caliper, balled and burlapped trees; quantity is 140 - 220 trees (various species). Quotes will not be accepted from nurseries located in counties where there are federal or state quarantined restrictions for any controlled pests such as fire ants and Japanese beetles. Delivery date of final products will be between October 15, 2005 and March 15, 2007. It is anticipated that all elements of this solicitation will be obtainable on the following websites http://fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about August 16, 2002. However, if a hard copy of this solicitation is desired, please fax your request to 580/622-2296. Requested hard copies will be sent via U.S. Mail or or about August 16, 2002. No telephone requests for this package will be accepted. Quote response due date listed in this announcement is approximate; actual date will be established at the time documents are available.
