Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Proposal for the electro magnetic testing of approximately 6 miles of Prestressed Concrete Cylinder Pipe (PCCP). Offerors will be required to submit both a technical and a price proposal. The purpose of the testing is to determine the extent of prestressed wire failures that currently exist in the pipe. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541380. The testing must be completed between February 1st and March 1st, 2003. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available APPROXIMATELY August 12, 2002, at www.fedbizopps.gov (without drawings). Once logged into the fedbizopps web site, a search engine is available by clicking the "GO" button on the "Find Business Opportunities", or the same search engine is available by clicking on the "Vendors" button and again clicking "Find Business Opportunities". The search engine allows interested parties to search by solicitation number.
