Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and IAW FAR 13.5. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04684-02-T-0087. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08. A full text of all clauses and provisions can be accessed at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. The NAICS code is 532412 and the size standard is $6.0 million. This acquisition is for full and open competition. There are six line items for the rental of generators as follows: 0001) Rental of 6 - 200Kw generators; 0002) Rental of 8 - 100Kw generators; 0003) Rental of 14 - 60Kw generators; 0004) Rental of 3 - 30Kw generators; 0005) Rental of 2 - 15Kw generators; and 0006) Pick-up and delivery charges. All generators shall be wheel mounted with military style hitches and fuel tanks. Generators will be 3 phase, connectable for both 208 and 480 VAC. Delivery to Vandenberg Air Force Base CA. Period of Performance will be 10 Sep through 9 Nov 02. FOB: Destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1. Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) apply to this acquisition. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, (Jul 2002) and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items (Nov 1995) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, (Feb 2002) is applicable by reference. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) conformance with specifications as indicated, and (ii) price. Offers must be submitted as written responses, mailed or faxed and received no later than 4:30 p.m. PST on 20 Aug 2002 to Deborah L. Doyle, 30 CONS/LGCB, Bldg 7015, 806 13th Street, Suite 2D, Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA 93437. Oral responses will not be accepted. Any questions or comments must be addressed to Deborah L. Doyle and must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. PST on 9 Aug 2002. Each offeror shall sign his/her quote. Responding sources must provide their company name, contact with telephone number, and their signature. Additionally, responding sources must be registered in the United States government Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr2000.com or http://ccr.dlsc.dla.mil. Quote is valid for 60 days from the date of the quote.
