- Description
- Emergency Watershed Protection Program project consisting of embankment and waterline stabilization, Quankey Creek Phase II, Halifax County, North Carolina. The project consists of 15 Bid Items. Major items of work include approx. 3,500 tons Loose Rock Riprap, Special Order; approx. 23,900 cubic yards embankment shaping; approx. 545 tons loose rock riprap, Class II; approx. 528 tons loose rock riprap, Erosion B Stone; and approx. 10 acres seeding and mulching. The estimated price range for this work is $250,000 to $500,000. The performance time is 110 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. There will be one site showing which is scheduled for Thursday, September 12, 2002 at 9:00 in the NRCS Halifax Field Office. Questions of a contractual nature should be directed to Elizabeth C.
