- Description
- IFB 786-12-03 FLAT GRANITE HEADSTONES Deliver F.O.B. Origin, fully inscribed 12" X 24" X 4" T flat granite headstones (Type G1) during the period October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003. Granite must be obtained from quarries within the United States of America; must conform to the definition of granite as defined in ASTM C119-01; be standard grade, fine-grained material as classified by the National Building Granite Quarries Association; and have a uniform shade of light gray as defined in the specifications. This solicitation does not include uninscribed markers. Estimated quantity is: 46,500. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 327991 and a size standard of 500 employees are applicable. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote. Request for a hard copy of the solicitation must be in writing to Mrs. Janice E. Corlew, Contract Specialist, and accompanied by a certified check or money order in the amount of Five Dollars ($50.00) (non-refundable), payable to "U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs." Please reference Solicitation Number IFB 786-12-03 on remittances. No telephone requests will be accepted. Hard copy solicitations will be issued via the ordinary mails on or about August 12, 2002. The solicitation may also be obtained FREE OF CHARGE, from VA's Business Opportunities System via the internet at the following URL address on or about August 12, 2002: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation?number=786-12-03.
