Description
F-16 Circuit Card Assembly This announcement constitutes the fulfillment of Public Law 2319 and is the periodic announcement of a Qualification Requirement, which is available for the manufacture of the Circuit Card Assembly Radio Frequency Monitor, P/N 785R537G01, NSN 5998-01-303-5871WF. The Circuit Card Assembly Radio Frequency Monitor is a component of the RF Monitor Board Assembly located in the Dual Mode Transmitter of the APG-68 Radar used on the F-16 C/D. The Monitor Board receives a peak detected voltage from the Dual Mode Traveling Wave Tube (DMTWT) and converts an analog voltage to an 8 bit digital word, which is sent to the Controller Board. The Monitor Board monitors the status of the Traveling Wave Tube (both Driver TWT and DMTWT). This status includes cathode voltage, collector voltage, and DMTWT body current. Additionally, the Monitor Board Assembly incorporates a multi-hybrid package (MHP) that contains the RF fault circuitry. The circuitry monitors for arc detection and excessive reflected power. Upon an RF fault, the Monitor notifies the PSP via the DIGIBUS. Although the F-16 Logistics Operation Division does not have an immediate requirement, this notification is for market research purposes to identify potential contractors who have the skills, experience, and knowledge required to successfully complete this effort for Hill AFB, Utah and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement will be accomplished. This is not a request for proposal or invitation for bid. Interested parties may request a source qualification statement from 2Lt Michael P. Weinheimer at 801-775-4613 or michael.weinheimer@hill.af.mil. Point of Contact Allen Berrett, Contracting Officer, Phone 777-01396, Email allen.berrett@hill.af.mil
