Item 0001 Non Recurring engineering design & development of a modification, installation of the AN/AAQ-22 Safire FLIR on Tunisian HH-3 helicopters (1 Lot), 0002 Group A modification Kits (4 kits) developed to modify line item 0001, 0003 Group B modification kits (2 kits) developed to modify line item 0001, 0004 Data to support this effort (1 Lot), 0005 Travel & per diem. Item(s) applicable to HH-3 helicopter (Foreign Military Sales-FMS). FUNC: Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) system to support nighttime operations. Destination: Tunisia. Delivery is 180 days after award of contract. No technical data is available for this acquisition. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Only One or a Limited number of Responsible Sources, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and or to communicate concerns, if any concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsperson has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsperson is not to diminish the authority of the program director or the contracting officer, but to communicate serious contactor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsperson will maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsperson does not participate in the evaluation of proposals in the source selection process.
