Description

THIS IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The contractor shall provide all plant, labor materials, equipment, and supervision-including supplies and parts necessary to perform premium full maintenance of eight un-interruptible power supplies (UPS) located in buildings 214, 228, 300, 301, 376 and 1555 Robins Air Force Base, Georgia. UPS equipment within the contract includes one model 9315, three models 3450, one model 3000, two models 125, and one model 80/50. UPS are manufactured by Powerware Corporation, Federal Systems Div. 8609 Six Forks Rd. Raleigh, N. C. Premium full maintenance shall include both preventive and corrective maintenance. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED AT WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV NO LATER THAN 13 AUGUST 2002. RESPONSES DUE NO LATER THAN 4 SEPTEMBER 2002. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
