- NA Three types of dispersive delay lines Class I, Short Range, Army P/N MIS 21038-001, NSN 7025-01-092-0835, Class II, Medium Range, Army P/N MIS 21038-002, NSN: 7025-01-092-0835, and Class III, Long Range, Army P/N MIS 1038-003, NSN 7025-01-092-0836. These assets are for the Patriot Missile System. This will be a requirements contract for the purchase of approximately six of each type of delay line for a base year with four option years. The acquisition covers a potential of 30 of each type or 90 delay lin es in total over the five-year period. The period of performance will begin 10/01/02 - 09/30/03 followed by sequential option years. Delivery orders will be issued on a firm fixed price basis. Delivery will be 110 days after issuance of the delivery orde rs. Destination will be Letterkenny Army Depot. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government does not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified sources. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. Suggest that small business firms, or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make c ontact with the firms listed. The RFQ will be issued to Micro-Networks Creative Electric Inc. 23 N. Division St, Auburn NY 13021, and Phonon Corporation, 7 Herman Drive, POB 549, Simsbury, CT 06070-1403.
