Description

NA The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Change the type of effort from Request for Proposals (RFP) to an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This acquisition is subject to the availability of funds. The Government reserves the right to fund both, one, or neither of the described tasks. 2. Provide additional information about the description of the acquisition. Additional description: Information for Elevator of Building 277: The contractor shall completely remove the existing electric elevator and replace with a new hydraulic elevato r with 1800 pounds capacity and three landings in accordance with the CHANGED drawings and specifications JOR 99-0391. Information for Elevator of Building 2700: The contractor shall remove the existing elevator components in the hoist way and in machine room in their entirety and furnish and install new (includes new governor, new motor, etc.), retain and overhaul existi ng car sling platform, car sheave, safety etc.) Replace car sub floor and finish floor, replace car guide shoes, etc., in accordance with CHANGED drawing and specifications JOR 99-0361. The $33.00/per set charge for a copy of Specifications and Drawings remains the same. All contractors that are no longer interested in this acquisition and have already submitted $33.00 checks for copies of Specifications and Drawings shall have their che cks returned to them promptly.
