Description

NA Construction of Rehabilitation of North Bulkhead, Caven Point Terminal, Jersey City, N.J. This project in UNRESTRICTED. The NAICS Code is 234930 with a size standard of $28.5 Million dollars. The work is repair of concrete bulkhead along the northern boundary of Caven Point Terminal property. The Estimated construction cost of this project $100,000 to $500,000. Completion date for this project is 90 days after issuan ce of Notice to Proceed. The media selected for the issuance of solicitation and amendments shall solely be at the discretion of the Government accordingly, the media utilized for this project are the internet and CD-ROM. Paper copies of this solicitation and amendment if any will not be available or issued. Interested parties may download and print the solicitation at no charge at http//nan.usace.army.mil(contracting opportunities) Project specification files and drawings are portable document files (PFD) and can be reviewed navigated or printed using Adobe Reader Minimum system requireements are 496 based personal computers. Microsot windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM.A registration page is attached to the website and prospective bidders are req uired to register and to receive notice of any amendments and/or addenda that meb be issued to this solicitation. Utilization of the internet is the preferable method however, CD's will be available upon written requested stating the solicitation number, o r project nname, complete company name and street address (no PO boxes) telephone and facsimile numbers (including area code) Make checks payable in the amount of $10.00 to USAED, New York. Solicitations documents for this work will be available on or abo ut 21 August 2002. Bid OPening will be on 20 September at 11:OO AM in Room 1841. Registration requirements (DFARS) 254.204-7004 requires central contractor registration (CCR) applies to this procurement. Prospective contracts must be registered in the CCR database or will be make an offerors ineligible for award.
