Description

The work to be performed consists of performing electrical and structural work in the switchyards at Marys Lake and Estes Park Poweplants. Some principal components of the work include the following: removing existing concrete, bituminous pavement, rails, geomembrane and piping; performing earthwork for switchyard; placing gravel surfacing; furnishing and installing oil containment system; constructing reinforced concrete foundations; removing and disposing of existing electrical equipment; furnishing and installing SF6 power circuit breaker; installing two government-furnished disconnect switches and two 115-6.6 kV, three-phase, 18 MVA transformers and modifying the service station feeder. The work at Marys Lake is situated approximately 3 miles northwest of Estes Park. The work at Estes Park Powerplant is located in Estes Park, in Larimer County, Colorado. The price range for this contract is $1,000,00 to $5,000,000. The bid opening date is tentatively scheduled for October 10, 2002 at the Bureau of Reclamation's Great Plains Regional Office, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana. There is no charge for the first copy of this solicitation, and additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each set. All reasonable sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 234920. The small business size standard is $28.5 Million. After issuance, the Solicitation (excluding Drawings) may be viewed at http://ideasec.nbc.gov.
