Description

The National Park Service is issuing an unrestricted solicitation for grounds maintenance services at the Statue of Liberty National Monument and the Ellis Island Immigration Museum. The solicitation, including wage rates, qualifications and specifications, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizops.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 20, 2002. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued directly from the contracting office. TELEPHONE, EMAIL OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE RECOGNIZED OR HONORED BY THE GOVERNMENT. The work includes the furnishing all labor, transportation, equipment (except for government furnished equipment identified in the solicitation), materials, supplies and supervision necessary to perform grounds maintenance operations such as grass cutting, trimming and edging, lawn care, weed control, irrigation, tree and shrub planting and maintenance, and planting and care of flower beds. The period of performance will consist of a base period from October 1, 2002 through September 30, 2003 with four (4) additional one (1) year option periods. Work will be performed at Ellis Island and Liberty Island, New York, New York 10004. The NAICS code for this project is 561730 with a size standard of $6,000,000. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted.
