Description

The Naval Oceanographic Office intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price, full and open competition, F.O.B. destination, Purchase Order for one (1) Sub-bottom Profiler System, in accordance with salient characteristics. The solicitation is SIC 3812, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical and Nautical Systems, Instruments, and Equipment. Size standard is 750 employees. The requirement is for one (1) Sub-Bottom Profiler System, including one (1) topside controller and three (3) Chirp Towfish with associated cables. Prospective offers not CCR registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under ?Business Opportunities? and solicitation number ?N62306-02-Q-3107?. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will NOT mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offeors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror?s inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site.
