Description
The Export-Import Bank of the US intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Bureau Van Dijik. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for the renewal of Bankscope, EIU Country Data and Capital Intelligence, for the Export Import Bank of the United States. The Bankscope is a spreadsheet database of financial data, ratio analysis, ownership, and ratings for 11,500 banks worldwide. Bankwide access via IP for 3 concurrent users, plus updated analysis for new statements upon request. EIU country Data is a statistical spreadsheet database of 257 economic indicators in time series for 195 countries, covering 5-10 years of historical and 5 years of forecast data. Bank wide access via IP for 1 user. This is a continuation of the service and will run for one year beginning October 1, 2002 through September 30 2003. This acquisition is under NAICS 51421. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This is a sole source requirement and if no affirmative written responses are received that a comparable source is available, a sole source will be negotiated. Responses must be received, in writing, within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication of this notice. Interested parties must submit sufficient descriptive literature with their response to prove their capability to respond to the requirements. Responses must be in writing. NO TELEPHONE RESPONSES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). Award will be contingent upon availability of FY02 funding. The point of contact is raymond.tracey@exim.gov. Award will be made to the source listed above unless one or more qualified responsible sources are identified that can also meet the delivery period. In the event more than one source responds, the evaluation criteria will be technical expertise and experience with the subject matter of this requirement. The Government reserves the right to conduct a down select among offeror (s) and only hold discussions with offeror (s) who best meet the solicitation evaluation criteria. These discussions will consist of impromptu questions and answers.
