Description

NOTICE of INTENT--The National Imagery & Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with TAB Products Company, to disassemble the existing TAB-Trac Media Storage system, upgrade parts of existing TRAC Trac Media Storage system, install new TAB-Trac tracks, rails, carriages, storage components, and give a warranty that will cover all modifications, additions, assembly and disassembly of the TAB Trac Media Storage system. Authority for this sole source purchase is 10 USC 2304 (d) (1) (B) and FAR 6.302-1. Firms that recognize that they can perform the required services described above are encouraged to identify themselves by giving written notification to the Contracting Officer, and providing supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer within (7) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis, 9 August 2002- 16 August 2002. The final determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on any information provided, is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responsible sources will be given full consideration. Only written responses will be considered. (See Notice 22)
