Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation number 02Q0142 is hereby issued for this requirement through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08. This action is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 443130 and the SIC Code is 5946 with a small business size standard of not-to-exceed $6M. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has a requirement for: BRAND NAME - 2 EA* Harley Davidsion Motorcycles, Model FLHTPI, Year 2003 Anniversary Edition - All White, to include delivery and set-up; 2 EA Harley Davidson Side Car, Year 2003, to be delivered as rolling stock; 2 EA - One (1) Year Maintenance Packages to include oil changes/lubes (every 3,000 miles), pick-up, delivery and labor charges; 2 EA Emergency Equipment to include strobe light package, siren, and installation labor (#WH2113); 2 EA Chrome Cooling Fans (#91550-00A); 6 EA Heavy Duty Rubber Mounts for cooling fans; 2 EA Spacers for emergency equipment; 2 EA Screws for emergency equipment; 2 EA Hanger Brackets for emergency equpment; 2 EA Blade Fuses for emergency equipment; 2 EA Covers, Tour Motorcycle; 2 EA Covers, Side Car w/Logo; 2EA Exhaust w/End Caps (#128-7820); 4 EA Hand Grips, Black H Grips/HD Motor Chrome (#56285-98); 2 EA Air Deflector Kits (#58120-96); 2 EA Molding, Wind (#59219-96); 2EA Caps (#43376-00). The desired delivery schedule is one (1) month after receipt of order; the required delivery schedule is 30 September 2002. The following FAR Provisions and Clauses are applicable unless otherwise noted: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Paragraph (a) insert: The government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming to the Solicitation as provided herein, is lowest in price.; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items. The following Clauses cited in 52.212-5 are applicable: 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; 52.222-35, Equal Opportunity for Special Disabled Veterans, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.222-36, Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled, Veterans of the Vietnam Era, and Other Eligible Veterans; 52.225-1, Buy American Act-Supplies; 52.225-13, Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases; and 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. Quotations must contain the following: 1) Pricing for each required item cited above; and 2) Completed and signed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications. Quotations delivered by UPS, FedEx, or Courier must be addressed to: U.S. Secret Service, Attn: Procurement Division - Ava McIntire, 950 H St., NW, Washington, DC 20223. Quotations delivered by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) utilizing any USPS method MUST be addressed to: Communications Center - PRO, Attn: Ava McIntire, P.O. Box 6500, Springfield, VA 22150.
