Description
This is a competitive, combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information provided herein. This is a competitive procurement action and is set-aside exclusively for small business concerns. The USPTO plans to utilize simplified acquisition procedures by awarding a competitively procured purchase order to the offeror which provides the best value to the government considering price, quality, and past performance factors. All interested and qualified vendors should submit a price proposal for the following item under the following terms and conditions: (127) Amicus Attorney - CS Amicus V Client Server Licenses, which is a comprehensive system for managing attorney workload. Only authorized resellers of Amicus Attorney, a product licensed and manufactured by Gavel & Gown Software, Inc., will qualify to submit a price proposal. This announcement constitutes the Request for Quote (RFQ) and is the only solicitation that will be issued. This solicitation incorporates all of the applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 01-07, as if stated in full text, as well as the terms and conditions of FAR 52.212-1. The successful offeror will be awarded a Firm Fixed-Price purchase order for the above requirement using simplified procedures. The purchase order will contain the terms and conditions of FAR clause 52.212-4, CONTRACT TERMS AND CONDITIONS - COMMERCIAL ITEMS. Only qualified vendors attempting to submit a price proposal on the above requirement should forward a Firm Fixed-Price price proposal, responsive to the requirements of this combined synopsis/solicitation, to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, 2011 Crystal Drive, CPK-1, Suite 810, Arlington, VA 22202, Attention: Mr. Chris Mikula, no later than 2:00PM (EST) on August 9, 2002 or via e-mail at chris.mikula@uspto.gov no later than the aforementioned time and date.
