- Description
- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation F02601-02-T-0013 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08. (iv) This requirement is being synopsized as a small business set-aside under NAICS Code 333912, small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) Please quote to supply the following item as listed: Provide all management, supervision, labor, parts, tools, delivery, material, and equipment necessary to supply the following (1) one each item: Mobile compact, dual powered, breathing apparatus cylinder (BAC) charging station on wheels. It is a complete system with a four stage compressor assembly: a FreshAir? purification system, an ASME storage system, a computerized control system with electronic air quality monitors, and an all new B.A. cylinder charging device. All components are integrated into a space efficient, ergonomically designed trailerized apparatus. When parked in the station, it functions as an electric motor driven stationary charging station. At the scene, the unit will be powered by the engine, gas or diesel. The compressor must be easily towed by just about any vehicle. The standard system should weigh less than 3,500 Lbs. And include options, such as flood light tower and auxiliary generator. Water cooled engines to provide greater reliability, longer life and quieter operation; computer control system which monitors all significant functions and presents the operational status on an electric annunciator panel; B.A. cylinders which are refilled in a Guardian Charge Station; electronic air quality monitors which digitally display the amount of CO and water vapors at all times. When the storage cylinders are full the compressor is stopped, and the engine is set to idle. (vii) Place of delivery: 4420 S. Phoenix St., at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707. FOB designation, no later than 15 September 2002 (viii) Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial applies to this acquisition. (ix) Provision 52-212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition; quote shall be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors are required to submit a completed copy of 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (xii) Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (xiii) N/A. (xiv) N/A. (xv) N/A. (xvi) Quotes shall be due to the 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S. Craycroft Rd. Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ 85707, by 20 August 2002, 3:00 p.m. local time.
