- Description
- The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts(AO) intends to issue purchase orders, on a sole source basis, for the annual renewal of proprietary software licensing and usage and maintenance fees. The various software manufacturers are: (Allen Systems Group;Business Software, Inc.;Candle Corporation; Computer Associates, Inc. Compuware Corporation;Consul Risk Management, Inc.;DTS Software;EMass;IBM Corporation;Interlink Computer Sciences; MacKinney Systems,Inc.;Mobius Management System, Inc.;New Era Software;Prince Sofftware;SAS Institute, Inc.;Softworks, Inc.;SyncSort,Inc.;Tantia Technologies, Inc.; UNICOM Systems, Inc.;Xerox Corporation). For specific product name and version number,fax your request to Carroll Barrett at (202) 502-2455 (list contains 69 different software products).This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.No Request for Proposal (RFP) is available. The source code for each software package is only available through the manufacturer. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated to be issued as a result of this notice. Interested sources may submit data to demonstrate their ability to satisfy this requirement. Such data shall include, as a minimum, a complete description of how the requirement will be met, pricing with all applicable discounts, GSA contract number (if applicable), point of contact, past performance and experience where an offeror has provided this product under other contracts, and any other pertinent information. Interested sources must also show that it is advantageous for the Government to consider its product. If no affirmative written responses are received within 15 calendar days of the publication date of this notice to the effect that an acceptable alternate source is available, a contract will be placed with the manufacturers. This synopsis is a notice of intent to award a contract and should not be considered as a request for offers. The government will not pay for information received. All responsible sources will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended awardee and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation.
