- Description
- The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has a requirement for the services of a contractor to provide a software database that converts prescription information from pharmacies and provides the data to DEA in an electronic format. This RFQ is issued using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.5 ?Test Program for Certain Commercial Items?. It is 100% small business set-aside and the NAICS Code is 514210, with a small business size standard of $18M in annual gross receipts. Solicitation DEA-02-R-0018 shall be available on or about August 7, 2002, at webpage www.fedbizopps.gov; with quotations due August 19, 2002. Per FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, offerors will be evaluated on past experience, past performance, technical capability, and price. Offerors shall provide a quote that indicates exactly how they propose to provide the services required by this effort, and shows information on RELEVANT past experience, including customer points of contact for past performance. The offeror shall provide three samples of work. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. The RFP will be disseminated through www.fedbizopps.gov only. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available. Telephone requests will not be accepted. It is anticipated that service will be from date of award through September 30, 2002 with four one-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. In order to be susceptible of receiving an award, offerors shall submit certifications for the following provisions with their quote: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Item; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items.
