- Rack, Storage Small Arms. NSN: 1095-00-407-0674, YPC02203000457, IAW 19200 8449880, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Quantity of 1500 ea with 200% option which may be exericed at a later date. Solicitation SP0750-02-R-1669 was previously issued under 8(a) set-aside. The 8(a) has been withdrawn and item is now 100% set-aside for small business. This solicitation replaces previous requirement. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The government is not using the policies contained in part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or sercives. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Governments's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of 26 Sep 2002. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. The Small Business size standard is 500 employees. Availability of drawings. It is impracticable to distribute the applicable drawings with the solicitation. The applicable drawings are available at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. If the drawings are not posted at this web site, see Clause L07 ?Availability of Drawings for information on how to obtain the drawings. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. Proposed procurement contains a 200% option for increased quantities. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The estimated issue date is 26 Aug 2002.
