Description
This solicitation is to establish an Indefinite Quantity contract utilizing Electronic Data Interchange for all spare parts, managed by the Defense Logistics Agency, required to maintain the Hydra AN/SRC-55(V) Communications system manufactured by M/A COM Private Radio Systems, Inc. (CAGE 1PNR4). Delivery will be by Direct Vendor Delivery to the military customer or to a military stock location. DVD delivery periods will be based upon the priority of the order. Stock shipments will be required in 90 days. A spreadsheet of the items to be included in the initial phase of this solicitation can be obtained by electronic mail from the POC. There are approximately 78 national stock numbered items managed by S9E and a potential for up to 20 national stock numbers managed by S9G. The estimated potential annual value is $190,000.00. The solicitation will be available on its issue date of August 20, 2002 at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed five years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
