Description

The U. S. Department of Agriculture, Region 6, Olympic National Forest is issuing a request for quotations to complete work for storm damage repair on the 2281000 and 2281180 roads. Work on the 2281000 will consist of repairing fill, repairing & protecting ditch line with riprap, reconditioning of existing road, and seeding & mulching. Work on the 2281180 will involve repairing ditch and fill, reconditioning of existing road, removing, cleaning and relaying salvaged culvert, and seeding & Mulching. This project is located at Big Creek on the south end of Hood Canal Ranger District, sections 14 and 15, township 22 north, range 08 west near Montesano, Washington. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal No. R6-OLY-2-54-O and will be available through this website on or about August 23, 2002 with proposals to be received no later than the close of business (4:00 p.m. PST), September 10, 2002. Telephonic or written requests for this solicitation will not be honored. This solicitation is issued as a small business set-aside and far part 12, commercial items procedures will be utilized. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 234990 with a corresponding size standard of 27 million. Requirements of the Service Contract Act will apply to any resulting contract. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered.
