- Defensive Radar Program Industry briefing announcement: This announcement serves as a notice to potential prime contractors that on or about 19 August, 2002 the Defensive Radar Program Office (ESC/SRF), Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom AFB, MA intends to conduct a Defensive Radar Program (DRP) Briefing to Industry. The intent of the briefing is to update prospective prime contractors on the latest status of the DRP program. Specific topics to be addressed include: 1. Current Program Status. 2. Anticipated Acquisition Schedule. 3. Offerors Access to proposed DRP Site locations. 4. Other Issues. In addition to an updated status on the DRP program the latest draft versions of DRP Documents associated with the preparation of the Defensive Radar Program Draft RFP will be available upon request. Please be advised that the Technical Requirements Document is classified U. S. Secret while the remaining documents are unclassified "For Official Use Only". The documents will be provided via registered mail only to prime contractors. Contractors should limit attendees to no more than three properly cleared company representatives. Accordingly it is requested that potential prime contractors provide the appropriate facility clearance information and mailing instructions to Daniel E. Gorman, Jr., CPCM, Contracting Officer, ESC/SRK, 29 Randolph Road, Hanscom AFB, MA 01731-3010. Any Contractor not previously identified as a potential prime contractor who wishes to be considered as a potential prime contractor is requested to present information identified by the previous DRP synopsis published on 22 September 2000 (Email copies of this synopsis will be provided by the Contracting Officer upon request.). This Synopsis is issued to conduct market research for informational and planning purposes only. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or an Invitation for Bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. Contractors are advised that the cost of any responses to, or other cost incurred as a result of this solicitation is at the contractor's own risk. Unless funds are made available for this requirement, no contract will be awarded. Limited to U.S. Firms only. See Note 26.
