- This is a synopsis for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This contract is a 100% 8(a) Set Aside. IMPORTANT NOTICE: FAR 52.232-33 (Payment by) Electronic Funds Transfer (Central Contractor Registration) is applicable to this acquisition and requires registration in the CCR database. CONTRACTORS MAY REGISTER ON-LINE AT http://ccr.edi.disa.mil. It's mandatory to obtain a DUNS number prior to registering. Call Dun & Bradstreet (1-800-333-0505) to obtain. Award cannot be made unless registered. Solicitation No. F08650-02-R-0089 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3663, business size of 750 employees, and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334290. Requirement is for 18 each Multiband, Multimission Manpack UHF/VHF Radios, AN/PRC-117F, NSN, 5820-01-462-2484, including 18 each UHF Satcom Antenna Set, 240 to 400 MHz, NSN 5985-01-485-4672 (Part Number RF-3080-AT0001) and 36 each Nickel Cadmium Battery, Part Number 10075-1345-01. These items are for delivery to Patrick AFB, FL, FOB Destination. FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification - Commercial Items shall be completed and submitted with the quote. All qualified 8(a) Program offerors may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
