- Description
- Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Communications Solutions Inc., on other than full competitive basis, a contract for 1 Microwave Receiver Subsystem with the following specifications: Input frequency: 100MHZ -18GHZ; Tuning Resolution: 100MHZ; Intermediate Frequency Output: 160MHZ IF /100MHZ BW; Intermediate Frequency Output: 1GHZ/500 MHZ BW; External Frequency Reference: 10MHZ input, 0 DBM amplitude, BNC connector; IF Frequency output: SMA 1GHZ IF, BNC 160 MHZ IF; External Interfaces: RS-232, Ethernet; Operating Temperature Range: 0 to +50 degrees C; Power Input: 120 VAC, 60-400 Hertz; Dimensions: Not to exceed 4 inches high x 9 inches wide x 21 inches deep; Weight: Not to exceed 20lbs.; Group Delay: Not to exceed 5NS over 75 percent of 1 GHZ if spectrum; RF to IF Flatness: +-1.5 DB over the entire frequency range; RF to IF Mapping: Non-Inverted spectrum; Tuning Mode: Step or continuous tune; Settling Time: Not to exceed 30MS. Additional options are: 1 each Option 1A- 1 GHZ IF,1 each Option 1C- Selectable IF outputs (160/100MHZ), 1 each Option 2- Front Panel Display, 1 each Option 3B Ethernet interface, and 1 each Option 5B Frequency Extension to 100 MHZ. Sole source is based on compatibility to existing equipment in use at NRL. See note(s) 22.
