Description

The USEPA, Region 2 intends to modify on a sole-source basis, Weston Solutions, Inc., contract number 68-W-00-113. Weston, the Removal Support Team contractor, provides professional technical support services to the USEPA, Region 2, in support of hazardous substance response, planning and preparedness activities and oil removal support activities. The purpose of the proposed modification is to increase the size of Weston's Removal Support Dedicated Team from 23 team members to 27 team members. The additional four team members will be comprised of a Health Physicist, a Life Scientist, and two Chemists who will work closely in support of the Region's Emergency Response/Counter-Terrorism Team. The addition of these individuals does not effect a change to the contract statement of work. The USEPA, Region 2, plans to negotiate on a sole-source basis this increase to Weston's Removal Support Dedicated Team in order to carry out its expanded emergency response/counter-terrorism activities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS.
