- Description
- This project consists of providing equipment and personnel to construct an approximate 77 foot simple span, glulam trail bridge supported on timber sill abutments. In addition, the project shall include construction of a 7 foot high concrete block retaining wall (approximately 100 square feet). The successful offeror shall also remove and properly dispose of two existing log stringer trail bridges, including sill abutments. The project is located on the Mapleton Ranger District, Siuslaw National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government-furnished), and incidentals to accomplish all work necessary. The Government estimate is between $25,000 and $100,000. The successful offeror shall be required to submit a Payment Bond (100%) prior to start of work. Contract time is 75 calendar days. Estimated start work is September 2002. This solicitation is not set aside for small business concerns. (Solicitation packet is estimated to be posted in FedBizOpps on or about August 26, 2002.)
