- Description
- The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract modification with Cartwright Electronics, 655 West Valencia Drive, Fullerton, CA 92832 for field and depot support for the Vector Doppler Scorer (VDOPS) system under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Field and Depot support will consist of installation, acceptance testing, preflight checkout, postflight checkout, saltwater decontamination, removal, replacement and re-test of VDOP sensor and target installation kit equipment in accordance with approved US Air Force procedures. This support will provide scoring operations in support of the US Air Force Training, Test and Evaluation, William Tell, new target initiatives and special missions operational schedules. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
