Description

NA The Military District of Washington Acquisition Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia intends to issue solicitation; Request for Quotes (RFQ) DADW35-02-T-0171 on or around 26 August 2002. The solicitation is being issued for a contractor to furnish and deliver C hemicals for Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. This RFQ is unrestricted. The SIC is 2899 with a size standard of 500. The NAISC is 325998. The acquisition method utilized will be in accordance with Far Part 12 Commercial Items, utilizing Part 13 Simplified A cquisition Procedures. The anticipated contract will be awarded to the apparent lowest quote and will result in a Firm Fixed Price requirements contract with Base and Two Option Years, if exercised. The estimated period of performance for the base year is 01 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003. All CLINS are based on estimated quantities only and will be ordered on an as needed basis by the issuance of delivery orders against the resulting contract. The contractor shall be responsible for compliance with al l Federal, State and Local regulations, licenses, applicable laws, and statues. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the World Wide Web. When the solicitation is issued on or about 26 August 2002, it can be accessed on the Army Single Fac e to Industry (ASFI) website at http://acquisition.army.mil/. The Government will not provide hard copies (paper sets) or CD-ROM of the RFQ. Additionally, no paper copies of the solicitation or any amendments will be faxed or mailed. No further public anno uncements will be made. Contractors are advised to periodically check the aforementioned website for amendments or other updates on or about 26 August 2002. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled or published. Failure to provide all requested inform ation on the solicitation to include fill in clauses and provisions may result in a determination of the contractor being deemed non-responsive. All prospective offerors must be CCR registered.
