Description

NA The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss, Texas is synopsizing for awarad of a contract to provide collection and disposal of solid waste generated at Fort Bliss and surrounding areas. The contractor will also be responsible for the operation of the For t Bliss sanitary landfill. The contractor shall provide all management, personnel labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision and transportation associated with refuse and recycling services. The resulting contract shall be a firm, fixed pr ice contract for the period of 1 October 2002 thru 30 September 2003 plus four one-year options. The original solicitation was a 100% Set-Aside Small Business requirement. Solicitation is changed to Full and Open competition for NAICS code 56211 (Solid W aste)and SIC 4953 (Refuse) which applies to business size $ 10.5 million. The date of issuance is 12 August 2002 with a closing date of 29 August 2002. Requests for the solicitation must be made in writing and accompanied by a Money Order or Cashier's Ch eck in the amount of $ 25.00. Faxed, telephone or e-mail requests will not be accepted. Money Order/Cashier Checks will be made out to the Disbursing Officer.
