Description

The proposed work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and incidental necessary to construct a metal building structure with columns, beams, roofing, walls, and accessories. The metal building will have an office, bathroom, warehouse, storage room and will be utilized as a carport by the Navajo Regional Forestry Office. The project site is at BIA-Fort Defiance Agency, Fort Defiance, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. Bid documents will be available for mailing on or about August 16, 2002. Interested bidders are requested to submit a written request to obtain the bid package either by mail or by facsimile, Fax No. (505) 863-8382. Telephone requests to obtain the bid documents will not be accepted. A limited number of the bid packages will be available at no-charge, and issued on a first-come-first served basis until the supply is exhausted. Technical inquires must be submitted in writing 8 days before the bid opening date to the Contracting Officer. Pre-bid conference is scheduled at 10:00 A.M., on September 4, 2002, at the site, Branch of Forestry, 1 mile North of Conoco Station on Route 12, Fort Defiance, Arizona. The bid opening date is scheduled at 2:00 P.M., local time, September 12, 2002, at BIA, Navajo Regional Office, 3rd floor Conference Room. This project is Total Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated price range for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000.
