Description

The offeror shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, material, installation, programming, connection, tie-in and make fully functional all components to replace the existing Thorn/Kidde Data Collection Panels (DPC) with Radionics equipment. Offeror shall remove the existing DCP Panels and related equipment from each location and dispose of. The alarm initiating devices may or may not need replacing. DCP may consist of DCP 200 or DCP 103 style. DCP's may contain 8 or 16 zones and in some cases, multiple DCP's may be contained in one cabinet. This is a Commercial Items Procurement using FAR Part13.5. The solicitation will be issued on/or about August 6, 2002. Offeror shall include in their proposal: (A) Past Performance History 1. Length of time offeror has been in business performing alarm installation, 2. Location of previous alarm work, 3. Installers qualifications (must be Radionics certified), (B) Proposed work plan and, (C) Price. Award will be based on lowest priced offer having the highest past performance rating which represents the best value to the Government. A site visit is scheduled for August 20, 2002, @ 9 a.m., Bldg. 41, rm. 258. Due to security measures, plans shall be returned to the Contracting Officer if offeror is not the successful awardee. Site plans shall not be reproduced or released to anyone other than the original requestor. No post office box address will be accepted. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business and subject to availability of funds. All responsible small business may submit an offer.
