Description
This is a firm fixed price requirements supply contract for the acquisition and delivery of potable bottled water to the Immigration and Naturalization Service, U.S. Border Patrol in and around the Tucson, AZ area. This contract is for a base year and two (2) one-year options. The contractor is to have all equipment and supplies necessary to provide one-gallon bottles, six bottles per case (6's). Provide five-gallon bottles and water coolers at required locations. Deliveries are to be F.O.B. destination at seventeen U. S. Border Patrol locations in and around the Tucson, AZ 85713 area. Some locations are isolated for example-Douglas, AZ 85607, Nogales, AZ 85621, Why, AZ 85321, Bisbee, AZ 85603, Sonoita, AZ 85637, Wilcox, AZ 85644 and Casa Grande, AZ 85222. Deliveries are to be every other week, 26 yearly deliveries according to the delivery schedules. Emergency deliveries are those over and above the scheduled deliveries. Other delivery locations may be added throughout the life of the contract. Water is defined as fresh potable drinking water that is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and of a quality not less than that prescribed in Guidelines for Drinking Water Quality, as published by the World Health Organization and/or the current United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Drinking Water Standards, which ever is more stringent; also meeting all local Government requirements. The receipt, handling, storage and delivery of potable water to designated locations shall be carried out under complete sanitary conditions. Emergency delivery orders will be placed in situations when potable water is not available due to extra numbers of illegal immigrants detained, severe weather conditions, breaks in water main, contaminated underground water wells, etc. The Contractor shall provide and deliver emergency orders within 24 hours of notifications by the Government.
