Description

The Bureau of Land Management intends to issue a solicitation for the supply and service of portable toilets and hand washing facilities. Contractor will be required to provide personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to provide and service portable services and hand washing facilities placed in the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreation Area/ Resource Area of California. Contractor is required to comply with all Federal and State EPA rules/regulations/laws as they pertain to dealing with waste, waste solvents, and waste water. 10% or more of the portable toilets are required to meet the American Disabilities Act that have a temporary, stable, ADA compliant surface installed in front of or adjacent to the entry of the ADA unit. The amounts of units will increase/decrease depending on demand. This acquisition will be made under a 100% small business set aside (Note 1). The NAICS code is 562991. The size standard is $5.0 million. A written Request For Proposal (RFP) will be posted on this website on or about August 27, 2002. The estimated due date for Proposals is September 11, 2002. The period of performance shall be from Oct. 1, 2002 to Sept. 30, 2003 plus four option years.
