Description

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, National Animal Disease Center, in Ames, Iowa 50010, has a requirement for Sequencing of BAC Clones totaling approximately 800 Kilobases (KB) via reference number 012702-01MV for the USDA, ARS, CORN INSECTS CROP GENETICS, 351 Bessey Hall, Iowa State University, Ames, IA 50011 This RFQ (the first Modification posted 06/20/02)is being modified to remove NOTE 1 (100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS). We received no acceptable offers from small business concerns; therefore, the set-aside is being withdrawn and the requirement is being resolicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. "Request for Quotation" package will be mailed on or about 8/27/02. Requests must be in writing (MAIL: P.O. Box 70) or transmitted to facsimile number (515) 663-7482. The anticipated award date is approximately September 16, 2002.
