Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure Stern Boat Deployment Model Tests for Deepwater WMEC Design. Solicitation No. DTCG40-02-Q-60454 will be issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) is 541690 and the dollar amount is $ 6.0 million. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source solicitation will be issued for this testing to MARINTEK, Trondheim, unless additional sources are located. Interested, responsible sources, that can provide the testing requested, may submit a quotation, which shall be evaluated. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD. The RFQ package shall be available on or about 13 August 2002. Interested contractors should download the RFQ package from fedbizops@www.eps.gov . The closing date for receipt of responses shall be no later than 28 August 2002. This acquisition is not set-aside for small business. See Numbered Note 22 and 26. The following statement is for information purposes only: ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
