Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F29650-02-T-0101 and will be issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-08. The NAICS code is 421490 and the size standard is 100 employees. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside. The items are as follows: CLIN 1: Cooled CCD Digital Camera with the following specifications -- High-precision Readout 16 Bit, Water cooled, Effective No of Pixels > = 1024 x 1024, Low Readout Noise: <= 6 electrons r.m.s., Full Well Capacity > = 80000 electrons. CLIN 2: The Following Accessories for the Camera (quote each of the following sub clins separately): SUB CLIN 2AA: HiPic Simple Camera Control; SUB CLIN 2AB: Acquisition Software; SUB CLIN 2AC: PCI Digital Interface Board; SUB CLIN 2AD: Digital Interface Cable; SUB CLIN 2AE: F to C adaptor; SUB CLIN 2AF: Toolkit for adaptor. Delivery to Kirtland AFB no later than 90 days after date of award; FOB Destination. The following provisions and clauses can be found at http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 -- Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. Offerors must submit a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items (Feb 2002) and the provision at 52.219-1 Alt II -- Small Business Program Representations (May 2001). The clause at 52.212-4 -- Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items (Feb 2002) applies to this acquisition along with the following addenda: 252.204-7004 -- Required Central Contractor Registration (Nov 2001). The DFARS clause 252.212-7001 -- Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Nov 2001) applies to this acquisition as well as the following clause: 252.225-7001 -- Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program (MAR 1998) (41 U.S.C.10a-10d, E.O.10582).
