Description

The U.S. Secret Service intends to negotiate on a Sole Source Basis with Auto Tech from New York City for the installation of specialized radios, antennas, sirens, visor lights and speakers for a number of government vehicles. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS NOR A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. Based on the requirements of this Solicitation, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only ONE source under the authority of FAR 6.302. A determination by the Government NOT to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only written responses will be accepted and must be received within 2 calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government anticipates an award date on or about 5:00PM on August 14, 2002. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of any responses to this announcement. See Note 22 - Please insert "2 days" in lieu of "45 days."
