- Description
- REQUIREMENT: The U.S. Government is seeking to lease approximately 18,000 contiguous BOMA rentable square feet (15,409 contiguous BOMA usable square feet) on the first floor in Salt Lake City, Utah for occupancy by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The space must have a public entrance and a separate, designated entrance. The Government also requires a minimum of five-to-seven on-site, reserved parking spaces and parking for the handicapped. Additional parking requirements are as follows: 75 on-site, unreserved parking spaces is preferred but will accept a minimum of 40 on-site parking spaces and 35 off-site parking spaces within two blocks of building location. Further requirements include the following: Public access to parking below building cannot be permitted. SSA must be allowed to install a satellite dish on the building roof. Public transportation must be available within two blocks of building. Buildings listed on, or eligible for, the National Register or located within a historic district are encouraged to apply. Offered properties must be located within the delineated area of Salt Lake City as described below: DELINEATED AREA: Consideration of properties will be given to those within the four delineated boundaries as described: North Boundary: North Temple to East Boundary: 700 East to South Boundary: 900 South to West Boundary: 400 West. REQUIRED: Contiguous space on the first floor is required. Space and parking must be capable of being accessible to the physically challenged, capable of a high degree of life and fire safety, and the entire property must be located outside the 100-500 year floodplains. All services, supplies, utilities, property taxes, cost of property management, and required tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy by February 1, 2003. A term of 10 years, 5 years firm, with the Government having cancellation privileges, after 5 years. OWNERS/AGENTS: Letters of interest in offering space shall be submitted not later than the close of business on Monday, August 30, 2002.
