Description

For further information, contact the Contract Specialist Sharon Kent at 206-526-6035.*** The contractor shall perform the following tasks: 1) coordinate with agencies, public groups and interns to develop a regional point source plan addressing sewage systems and spills, and finalizing a plan to address desalination plants, 2) coordinate and strengthen a variety of ongoing implementation efforts for completed plans that address urban runoff, marinas and boating, and agriculture and rural lands, 3) coordinate with committee members including federal, state, local, public and private groups to implement additional water quality strategies, etc., and 4) coordinate agencies and volunteer groups in implementing a regional water quality monitoring program. The work will include presenting talks on water quality issues, working on water quality outreach and products, and tracking key projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with a minimum of six years experience in work related resource management and water quality, or Master's Degree with a minimum of three years experience in work related to resource management and water quality. The work will be performed at Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary in California. The period of performance will be for one base year, beginning approximate mid-to-late October or early November 2002, and will include two one-year option periods. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541990 and the small business size standard if $5.0 Million.
