Description
The Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Tickmark Solutions, Inc., 242 W. 36 St, New York, NY. The software to be acquired is Tickmark Solution Setup Reporter; which includes Tickmark Base Engine, Oracle Financials Suite, Oracle Manufacturing Suite, Oracle Project Suites, Oracle Distribution Suite, Oracle HR/Payroll Suite, Oracle Planning Suite, Oracle Public Sector Suite and Entity Pricing. In addition, WAPA intends to acquire Tickmark Metabuilder software, software installation, training and annual support. This product is able to meet WAPA?s three critical requirements for tracking software as follows: Ability to support the Oracle Federal Financials suite of software, a demonstrated capability and ability to seamlessly integrate WAPA?s existing configuration management software suite (PVCS Dimensions), and the ability to monitor MAXIMO application setups. Tickmark Solutions, Inc. is the only known source for tracking software that will satisfy agency requirements. The company has developed an automated product that will maintain and monitor multiple databases while collaterally supporting functional user real-time transaction processing in an Oracle, MAXIMO, and PVCS operating environment. In addition, the Tickmark product maintains tracking logs to register changes to each database and when and whom the changes were made. A solicitation document has not been prepared and this notice does not constitute a request for proposals. Vendors who believe they have a software product that will meet WAPA?s critical software requirements are invited to submit a description of their product to Western Area Power Administration, PO Box 281213, Mail Stop A7100, Lakewood, CO 80228-8213. The fax number is (720) 962-7161. This information must be received not later than August 29, 2002. The product must be commercially available. A determination to compete the requirement based upon this notice is solely within the Government?s discretion. The contracting officer is not obligated to notify vendors submitting information of his final decision. Depending upon the number of responses to this notice, a decision could be made within seven days after receipt of information. The Government will not reimburse a vendor for costs incurred in responding to this announcement.
