Description
Description Of Requirement: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center Hardware Engineering Group, ACB-820, intends to acquire Engineering & Technical Services in support of the current and future Operational Air Traffic Control System. These services will include overall facilities planning/systems engineering support of the Center and Infrastructure Engineering/Installation Design support along with quality management system and configuration management support. A CPFF type contract is anticipated. The contract performance period will be for a base period of 3 years with three option periods each consisting of one year. The estimated labor hours are approximately 82,000 to 94,000 hours each year for the base period and 97,000 to 107,000 each year for the option periods. The type of labor categories to be included are: Program Manager; Senior Systems Engineer; Systems Engineer; Network Engineer; Data Distribution Engineer; Senior Quality Specialist; Quality Technician; Engineering Technician; Documentation Specialist; Information Technology Specialist; Drafting Technician; Clerk/Typist; Web Master. This requirement is a total Set-Aside for Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems Code (NAICS) is 541519. These requirements will be defined in the Screening Information Request (SIR) package.
