- SYNOPSIS: Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to remove and replace existing fire alarm system to include a two-story barracks building, covered bathhouse and shops/CPB office and storage building. Contractor shall remove all existing fire alarm devices and replace with new fire alarm devices, removal and replacement of existing system wire and provide all new system fire alarm wire. Provide new wall mounted visual notification appliances in all buildings. Provide transient and surge protextion for all fire alarm circuits installed between buildings. Work shall be performed at U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Port Aransas, Texas. The performance period is ninty (90) calendar days from award date. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quoter. The anticipated award date is September 9, 2002. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program and is open to large and small business participation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 235310, with a size standard of $11.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by this agency.
